1. What is AMZ Bulker?
AMZ Bulker is a Chrome browser extension designed to help Amazon sellers scan storefronts, check product sellability on Amazon Seller Central, and calculate profit margins. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon.com, Inc.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum information required to provide our service:
- Email address — used to create and manage your AMZ Bulker account
- Plan/subscription status — free or Pro, stored to unlock features
- Daily scan count — stored locally in your browser to enforce daily limits
- ASIN scan cache — stored locally in your browser to speed up repeat scans
- Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your card details
3. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you and manage your account
- To determine your subscription plan and enforce usage limits
- To process payments via Stripe
- To send account-related emails (password reset, payment confirmation)
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the extension.
4. Data Storage
- Account data (email, plan) is stored securely on Supabase servers with row-level security
- Scan cache and daily limits are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API — they never leave your device
- Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe and subject to Stripe's privacy policy
5. Permissions We Request
AMZ Bulker requests the following Chrome permissions:
- tabs — to open Amazon Seller Central pages in background tabs for sellability checking
- scripting — to read results from Seller Central pages
- storage — to save scan cache and settings locally in your browser
- activeTab — to read product listings from the page you are currently viewing
- Host access to amazon.com and sellercentral.amazon.com — required to scan product pages and check eligibility
We do not access any Amazon page beyond what is needed to perform the scan you initiate.
6. Third-Party Services
- Supabase — authentication and account storage (Supabase Privacy Policy)
- Stripe — payment processing (Stripe Privacy Policy)
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising trackers.
7. Data Retention
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Local browser data (cache, scan counts) can be cleared at any time using the "Clear Cache" option inside the extension.
8. Children's Privacy
AMZ Bulker is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the extension or email. Continued use of AMZ Bulker after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
